"nevermind, i'm fine" out now

ABOUT

" When I was a kid and restless before bed, my mom would sing me “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” and I would melt away to sleep. Whether I was listening to the radio, creating my own riffs, or being sang to sleep by my mom, I have always felt soothed by music.

Growing up, I struggled with self image and the inability to properly express myself, so I turned to music. I wanted desperately to blend in. But even when I didn’t want to stand out, I still kept singing on stage. I couldn’t stop. After high school I tried to “grow up and get a real job” but I couldn’t resist the pull music had over me.

I write music and perform because it is what I am meant to do.

Whenever I was stuck in a feeling and would think things like “what is wrong with me”, it would echo in my head as a melody. I'd write it down and the next thing I knew, I had a whole song in front of me. I sang so many of my thoughts and emotions and those songs helped lighten some of the weight of those heavy feelings.

I create music that I hope will speak to someone and help lighten the weight of their heavy feelings, too."
